appointed Jo Phillips as senior
mortgage sales manager.
Phillips brings more than 30
years of financial services experience,
having worked in mortgage, client
service, relationship management and
leadership roles across Jersey, Dubai,
London and Southampton.
She was previously mortgage
market lead at a retail bank in Jersey,
where she worked with mortgage
intermediaries and high-net-worth
(HNW) clients.
Phillips said: “Skipton International

customers and communities at the

“I’m delighted to bring my
mortgage, client service, and
relationship management experience
to the team."

Kelly Stowell returns
to Accord as regional
sales manager
A
ccord Mortgages has
appointed Kelly Stowell as
regional sales manager for
London, the South East and
Northern Ireland, returning to Accord
aer three years with NatWest’s private
banking division.
Having originally joined as an
underwriter in 1997, she was part of
the team during the early years of the
Accord journey, and brings almost
three decades of mortgage industry
experience to the role.
As regional sales
manager, Stowell will
work closely with her
team across London,
the South East and
NI, providing support
and development, to

enable them to provide
the right solutions
for brokers and their clients.
Stowell said: “Throughout my career
I’ve been passionate about helping
people achieve their homeownership
ambitions and recognising that

where I started my mortgage career is a

Finova names
Mark Arnold as nonexecutive director

Arnold as non-executive
director, strengthening its
board as the business enters
its next phase of growth.
Arnold brings more than 26
years of senior leadership and
board-level experience across
financial services.
He most recently served as
head of savings and mortgages at
Barclays UK, following almost
seven years as CEO of Kensington
Mortgages.
He has also held CEO positions
at GE Capital across Southern
Europe, Eastern Europe and Asia.
Arnold said: “I’m delighted to
join Finova at such an exciting
stage in its development.
