such as IT contractors. This is great
for professionals who have recently
switched to contracting for lifestyle
or financial reasons, or because they
feel they can no longer rely on a
permanent role.
Unfortunately, life is geing more
complicated for some self-employed
workers, particularly around IR35 rules.
It is going to be more important than
ever for clients to get good guidance
and support from brokers and lenders
to help them find the right mortgage,
so they don’t want to throw it all in and
return to the day job. ●
